Walk description

The walk starts from the car park at Langsett Barn. We begin by following the path above the reservoir before descending to the bridge over the Little Don River. Turning slightly left, there is a steady climb up onto Langsett Moor, where there are great views over the surrounding area. The sound of Curlews and Red Grouse can be heard as we climb the heather lined route upto North America. We then continue on, before turning left down a well trodden path back towards Langsett Reservoir. At the bottom of this path we will stop for lunch. We then head through the hamlet of Upper Midhope to take the road over the dam wall back to the car park.
