Walk description
Kelstedge is a small village situated on the A632 between Chesterfield and Matlock, about 18 miles from Sheffield. The walk covers the surrounding countryside to the west of the village, passing local farms, country houses and through the tiny hamlet of Uppertown. There are sections of very quiet road walking. There are also stiles and squeeze gates to negotiate.
Meeting point and parking
Meeting point: Outside the Kelstedge Inn, The Causeway, Kelstedge, Derbyshire.
Parking: Roadside on Ashover Road (B6036) or The Causeway. Alternatively West Edge Close (2nd right 100 yards). Please park with consideration to local residents.
