Walk description

From the car park, we follow Fieldhead Lane into Holme and past the Fleece pub. We take a left turn down a path to Rake Dike, before rising up some steep steps (with Holme Moss transmitting station now in view) and then back down towards Ramsden Reservoir. We then follow a narrow path above the banks of the reservoir, then back into Holme. From here, we cross several fields (with great views across to Holmfirth and beyond), passing through a number of squeeze stiles down to Digley Reservoir. Following a path round the reservoir, we cross the dam wall before heading up above Bilberry Reservoir and Marsden Clough. Here, we will stop for lunch before going down to a footbridge and back up along a winding track which eventually leads us back round towards Digley and the car park.
