We then join the main Trans Pennine Trail at Finkle Street Lane before turning right past the old Wortley station building and riding stables. We head up the main track through to the northern end of Wharncliffe Woods and the top of Wharncliffe Moor before turning back past Moor End Farm, passing under the A616 to re-join Finkle Street Lane and return via Wortley Rugby club. Finally finishing the walk with a drink in the Wortley Arms pub.
