Walk description
We start through Ecclesfield Park into Ecclesfield village. Crossing over The Common we enter Hartley Brook and ascend steadily until we reach Hartley Brook Avenue. We return to Ecclesfield Road via Hartley Brook Avenue and Nethershire Lane and Hartley Brook Common. Crossing Ecclesfield Road we walk adjacent to Ecclesfield Road to Grange Lane, where we return to the start via the TPT and Station Road.
This is an easy walk of about 4 miles. There is a longish but steady ascent up Hartley Brook. We will take rest stops here if required. The paths are good throughout the walk.
