Walk description
The route follows well defined paths, fields and a little road walking on quiet roads. There are several stiles on this walk. Some of the paths are muddy and some fields are waterlogged in places, but all are passable with care. There is a steep ascent followed by a more gradual ascent before lunch.
Starting from Rural Lane, we walk along Loxley Common with views over Loxley valley. We enter Worrall via quiet lanes and field paths. Passing Bradfield School we then descend before climbing steeply up Coldwell Hill to the hamlet of Coldwell. We enter Coumes Vale plantation where we ascend to Onesmoor via a woodland path (last climb of the walk). After lunch on Onesmoor we then return to the start via Cliffe House Farm, Holdworth, Hillsborough GC and Loxley Common.
