Walk description
This walk takes us through Parson Cross Park, then on Deerlands Avenue to pick up the top of Hartley Brook. We then turn back to our start point and walk the entire length of Tongue Gutter. The debrief for those who want a drink at the end of the walk will be in the Asda supermarket Cafe at Parson Cross.
The walk has one set of steps going up followed immediately by more steps to descend onto Tongue Gutter, other than that the walk is predominately flat. The paths are manmade with grass paths through the park.
Meeting point and parking
Meeting point: Public car park, corner of Buchanan Road and Wordsworth Avenue, Parson Cross, Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Parking: Public car park at the corner of Buchanan Road and Wordsworth Avenue. Additional parking is available on-road on Buchanan Road.
