Walk description
Our walk will start from Concord Sports Centre descending down the paths around the cemetery until we reach the pathways connecting to Shiregreen Lane and Wincobank Avenue. We will enter Wincobank Woods then follow the path down to Grimesthorpe. Our re-entry to the woods will be made via Wincobank Lane and Beacon Road. We will then follow the path to Windmill Lane and return to our starting point via Wincobank Avenue and Old Brick Yard. The debrief will be at Concord Golf Club where hot drinks, alcoholic drinks and cakes will be available.
Skirting round the bottom of Wincobank Hill this walk will be a combination of woodland, paths and road walking.
