Walk description

From the George Hotel, we make our way out of the village along easy going paths to meet up with the Limestone Way. Here we will have views across Monk’s Dale, and west towards Wormhill. We follow The Limestone Way for just over a mile before descending into Miller’s Dale and crossing the River Wye. A short steep climb brings us to the Monsal Trail which takes us to Litton Mill, a former textile mill dating back to 1782. The final part of the walk is a gentle climb up Tideswell Dale back to Tideswell.

Please be aware that during the first mile of the walk there are around eight stiles over stone walls. After this we pass through gates.
