Ladybower Reservoir from Derwent Edge
Date: Sunday, 8th September 2019
Start time: 10:15
Grade: Strenuous
Distance: 9.0 miles
Walk description

From the Strines Inn we walk to Boot’s Folly via Brogging, then up past Sugworth Hall to Moscar. From here we walk up to and along Derwent Edge, where there are excellent views across the reservoirs, to Foulstone Moor. Then we head back down the track across the moor to the Strines Inn.
The first section of the walk – just over half a mile – is along Mortimer Road. It is not a busy road but is narrow in parts and we’ll need to take care.

This is a 9-mile walk and is strenuous.
