Walk description
From the start we walk up from Longshaw to the top of Froggatt and crossing over on the moor toward White Edge before turning off left along the NE Derbyshire boundary. Crossing the moor and then across the B6054 onto Blackamoor and up to the Trig Point. We then cross over the Moor and onto Moss Road down Totley Bents, where we can take lunch. We then pass down through Halifield Farm and up to Shorts Lane, after a short while we start then to ascend up through Strawberry Lee Plantation to the end of Stoney Ridge Road where we cross over and across the moor to the Fox House Inn and back to the start point.
There is generally only one up hill section on this walk which is a good three quarters of a mile long.
