Walk description

Leaving the spectacular views of the viaduct at this superb vantage point, we drop down on to the Monsal Trail. We follow this disused former railway track until it enters a tunnel, ignoring this our path then leads us down to picturesque Water-cum-Jolly. Soon passing through Cressbrook, a steady climb then up through woods eventually opens to wonderful views down Cressbrook Dale. After the small village of Wardlow, we soon pick up the path over Longstone Moor, with an eventual downhill finish into Little Longstone.
