Walk description

The walk follows the River Loxley along the Loxley Valley before ascending to the village of Storrs. From here we cross a number of fields which may be muddy and drop back down into the valley before taking the main ascent past Underbank Chapel up into Stannington. Walking past The Crown and Glove and Lomas Hall we take the path down into the Rivelin Valley where there is a short section of road walking before cutting up into the Roscoe Wood. Leaving Roscoe Wood we walk a short distance adjacent to the river before returning to our cars.
