Date: Thursday, 12th December 2019
Start time: 10:00
Grade: Moderate
Distance: 5.5 miles
Walk description

The start of the walk is a steep uphill up Mill Lee Road from the side of the Plough pub which we will take at a slow pace! After that, the walk is fairly easy – apart from the short climb up Stacey Bank towards the Nags Head Pub.

The walk will take us from Low Bradfield with some road and path walking across to Dungworth. We then follow paths across farm land and up Stacey Bank to join Loxley Road. We’ll follow the roadside footpath until joining the path round Dam Flask Reservoir back to our starting point.
Lunch could be taken on the benches outside the Nags Head if some are prepared to purchase refreshments from the pub, otherwise at the boat club by the reservoir.

A 5.5 miles walk which is moderate and which should take around 3½ hours with a lunch break.
