Walk description
We leave Little Longstone via a field path to arrive, after about half mile, in Great Longstone. From here we start to climb steadily, via field paths and green lanes, to reach Longstone Moor. The views from the moor are truly wonderful, and at a convenient place we will stop for lunch. We then begin our return, steadily downhill, with fantastic views back to the start.
This walk is approximately 6 miles.

If you wish to attend your first walk with Sheffield Walkers walking group please contact us a minimum 48 hours before the start of your chosen walk and we will add you to our list of walkers, notify the Walk Leader to expect you, and provide you with details of the meeting point and start time.
