Walk description

Starting at the Overlook car park, we will climb through the Lockerbrook South Plantation and across Rowlee Pasture to enjoy the views from Alport Castles. After descending through Castles Wood to Alport Dale and the Woodlands Valley, a shorter climb back up through Bellhagg Wood brings us back to Ladybower Reservoir via Hagg Side and Ridges Coppice. A short walk by the reservoir will return us to the car park.

Alport Castles is said to be the largest landslip in Britain.
