From Barber Booth, we will walk along the country road to Upper Booth Farm where we join the popular path to Edale village. From the village we take the path through Grinds Brook to Edale Moor. This includes a Grade 1 scramble for several meters at the top of Grindsbrook Clough where you may need to use your hands for additional stability as you walk over the rocks.
From the top of Grindbrook Clough we take the well-defined path along the southern edge of the Kinder Plateau past Grindslow Knoll to Crowden Tower where we descend Crowden Clough to Upper Booth and retrace our steps to the car park from Upper Booth Farm. You may also need to you use your hands for stability over the rocks on some parts of the decent.
Fine weather will reward us with magnificent views throughout, however, you should be prepared for all weather conditions. Warm clothing, waterproofs and sturdy footwear are essential as weather conditions can change quickly on Kinder Scout.
