Walk description
Starting from the Bulls Head, we make our way up Loads Road for around one third of a mile before turning left along Dennis’s Lane. A walk through fields takes us to Billy Pig’s Wood, across tracks to and alongside Harewood Road and eventually alongside Hippersick Wood. Making our way through Hare Wood and following the boundary of the Peak District National Park to Hungerhill Lane, we then start tracking the edge of Cathill Coppice and Gladwin Wood to return to our starting point of the Bulls Head.
This walk will take approximately 4 hours.
Meeting point and parking
Meeting point: Meet outside the Bulls Head, Cotton Mill Hill, Holymoorside, Derbyshire.
Parking: On-road near the Bulls Head. Please park with consideration to local residents and other road users.
