Walk description
From the start point, we cross the A617 and walk across agricultural fields to Wrang Plantation and Springwood Farm until we join Postmans Lane. A steady walk along this bridle path brings us into Sutton Scarsdale and Sutton Scarsdale Hall where we will stop for lunch. After lunch we pass through Hall Farm, over the M1 to reach the Stockley Trail (which is a disused rail track). After about half a mile we leave the trail cut across open fields, back under the M1 to pick up the path for our return to the start point.
Please be aware there are sections of back road walking and some styles to negotiate.
