Walk description

For this new walk, we are talking a trip west over the county border into North Staffordshire. From the start point we walk down past Gradbach Mill and pick up the woodland path which runs at the side of the River Dane along the Dane Valley Way to Danesbridge, after a short walk up the back road we take a single track up the hillside and over open fields and passing Hangingstone Farm, we continue along the bottom of the valley. Heading north we pick up a bridal path heading over open moorland then circle round to the west into Forest Wood and on to Luds Church, dropping down the hillside, we use the stepping stones to cross Black Brook and walk up the track passing the scout camp back to the start point.
