Walk description
This walk starts from Elsecar Heritage Centre Car Park. We walk through Elsecar Park, then along the side of the reservoir to Burying Lane. This is a very narrow lane, so care is needed on this section of the walk. Making our way to Wentworth Saw Mill, we take the footpath to Kings Wood. From here we ascend slightly to the Needles Eye and Hoober Stand. We return down Linthwaite Lane to the canal, which we follow for a short way back to the Heritage Centre.
