After a break and views from the picturesque village of Green Moor, we’ll take a glimpse of Wortley Top Forge.

Built in 1639, it’s the oldest surviving heavy iron forge in the world and is said that cannonballs were made here during the English Civil War. From there, we cross Finkle Street Lane then head over to Wharncliffe Crags and back to Deepcar.
