Dale Dike Reservoir, Bradfield, South Yorkshire
Date: Sunday, 10th November 2019
Start time: 10:00
Grade: Moderate / Strenuous
Distance: 8.0 miles
Walk description

This walk follows an undulating route, on the hills surrounding Dale Dyke and Agden Reservoirs, walking through both Low and High Bradfield. The route follows established footpaths and tracks, with short sections of road walking. There are 3 steepish inclines of between 200 and 400 metres long, and 10+ stiles to negotiate. There are good views of this beautiful area throughout.

This is a walk of 8 miles and will take about 4.5 hours with lunch stop.

For anyone not wanting to complete the full walk, it is possible to shorten the walk to about 6 miles from Agden Reservoir. This will avoid the steepest incline, but you will miss the best views. The choice is yours!
