Walk description
Taking the path directly below The Grouse Inn we pass down and through Haywood Car Park, over the stream and cross the A625 where we pass along Froggatt Edge and Curbar Edge. Upon reaching Curbar Gap Car Park we cross Clodhall Lane before heading down past the Wellington Monument and on to the intersection with Clodhall Lane. Crossing the road we walk back up a gentle incline towards Curbar Edge where we take lunch. After lunch we continue to the end of the Curbar Edge path. Crossing the A625 we enter into the Longshaw Estate where we take the path leading back to The Grouse Inn, there is a short 200yard walk along the road at this point.

Meeting point: Lay-by by the Grouse Inn, A625, Grindleford, Derbyshire.
Parking: Lay-by next to the Grouse Inn. If full use the National Trust Haywood Car Park P&D, 300 metres further down road from the lay-by.
