Date: Sunday, 26th June 2022
Start time: 10:15
Grade: Moderate
Distance: 8.5 miles
Walk description

Starting off from the Church Inn at Chelmorton, we make a short steep ascent onto Taddington Moor, before the path (through long grass) levels out to a lot more of a gradual ascent to Sough Top. From here we descend to Taddington and pass the church where we will take a short break. After crossing the A6 we descend to the River Wye where we will have our lunch. After walking alongside the River Wye through Chee Dale and Wye Dale, we climb up our last steep ascent to the top of Topley Pike Quarry. From here it is a very gradual ascent back to our start point.

This is a undulating walk with two steep ascents, on field paths and tracks. It has several stiles and squeeze gates.
