Walk description
From the start we walk out of Biggin village and cut across open fields to join the Tissington Trail. We walk for about 2 miles on the trail, enjoying the excellent scenery of the surrounding countryside. Leaving the trail we descend downhill to join the footpath at the side of the River Dove. Walking alongside the river, we pass Gipsy Bank and walk to the junction of Wolfscote Dale and Biggin Dale. Leaving the path by the river, we walk all the way up the valley of Biggin Dale until we reach dale end. From here there is a very short section of road walking back to the start point.
