Walk description
Leaving Mytham Bridge, we follow Station Road to Mill Lane. From here, we take a path alongside Bamford Mill and over the River Derwent. We then cross fields to reach the Thornhill Trail. We follow this path to the dam at Ladybower. Crossing the dam wall, we follow Ashopton Road onto New Road, then we cross several fields before emerging back onto Ashopton Road, near to the Anglers’ Rest. Next, we follow quiet lanes back to our start point.
