Walk description

This is a lovely easy walk on well made paths and tracks and offers magnificent views for only a small amount of effort. There are about 50 steps to negotiate at one place and tracks on the east side are gently undulating.

The circular route completes a circuit of one half of Ladybower Reservoir and passes the awe-inspiring Derwent Dam, scene of the practice flights for the famous Dambusters raids during WWII.

Sit and have lunch at Fairholmes and watch many varieties of woodland birds at the feeding stations.

Please note: This is a replacement walk instead of More Hall and Broomhead Reservoirs, as the construction work at More Hall will not be completed until the end of January.
