Walk description

This walk begins in the town of Holmfirth. A steep ascent from here takes us up towards Netherthong, giving excellent views across the valley. The route takes in many varied landscapes and paths, from townscape to pretty villages, from woods to thick pine forest, from farm tracks to cornfields and a reservoir bank. We head towards the edge of Meltham before sweeping back to Upperthong and back to Holmfirth.
