Whiston, Ulley and Ulley Reservoir

Parking near the beautiful 13th century thatched barn we make our way out of the pretty village via Doles Lane, over the motorway footbridge towards Ulley. Taking field and meadow paths our way is then downhill to the reservoir, where we will take our lunch break, then we make our way back to Whiston passing the church with its stocks and lychgate. There are stretches of road walking on mainly quiet roads.

Please Note: due to the recent rain it may be necessary to retrace some of our route on the return to avoid muddy stretches.
