Walk description
Leaving the car park we enter the Arboretum and follow the path to join the TPT adjacent to Wentworth church, leading to Wentworth Garden centre. Crossing the road we reach the entrance to the Wentworth Woodhouse Estate. Following the path past the house we head towards Mill Dam passing the Deer Shed. We then take Balk path up past Wilcox plantation and then back down to Marley Bridge Weirs for lunch.
After lunch we retrace paths back to the Wentworth House and leave the estate crossing the road towards the round house. Following the Lane behind the Bistro and crossing the road, we take a path to reach the George and Dragon pub for our debrief. After which we follow the path to return to the car park. This walk should take about 3 hours.
