Date: Wednesday, 21st April 2021
Start time: 10:15
Grade: Easy
Distance: Approximately 4.0 miles
Walk description

The route starts from the Miners Arms at Warren, from there we walk down into Parkin Wood, then into Westwood Country Park, passing Westwood Dam, then across into West Wood. Re-entering Westwood Country Park we climb steadily and crossover the A616 by a footbridge, we then enter Tankersley Golf Course before crossing the A616 to return to our start point at Warren.

This is an easy walk of about 4.3 miles. The paths are good throughout the walk, but some care needs to be taken as there are tree roots across the paths in places, we also need to take care when crossing the busy A616.
