Walk description
Starting at Ecclesfield Park, we cross over the Common and down Green Lane to pick up the Trans Pennine Trail. On reaching Grange Lane we turn up into Woolley Wood. Crossing Ecclesfield Road (care required), we enter Woolley Wood. After approximately a mile we drop down and cross Ecclesfield Road again (care required), to cross over a railway footbridge to reach the Trans Pennine Trail. We head back on the TPT to Grange Lane where we pick up a path to Butterthwaite. Continuing on we walk down Station Road and back to the starting point.
The paths are good throughout this walk.
