Wednesday Walk

We leave the car park crossing two fields passing through a small hamlet, down a lane, with the River Don on our right and the old iron works. We then join Well Hill Road which leads us toward Green Moor. Just before the top we turn down a narrow path, through woods and fields to eventually cross the River Don, via a small foot bridge, and on to Old Mill Road. After a few hundred yards we take a footpath, passing under the old railway bridge. We then go up a path which takes on to the TPT trail, passing through the old railway tunnel, and back towards the car park.
