Walk description
We start by walking across open countryside and woodland to reach Dog Kennel Lake. Walking at the side of the lake we reach a tarmaced path/minor road which takes us up to Greasbrough. Making our way on an off road path through Greasbrough we again enter Rockingham Wood to make our way back to the cars and a drink in the Kimberworth Park.
This walk will start from the Kimberworth Park pub on Oaks Lane, Kimberworth, Rotherham.
Meeting point and parking
Meeting point: Lower car park of the Kimberworth Park, Oaks Lane, Kimberworth, Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
Parking: Lower car park of the Kimberworth Park pub. We have had permission from the Kimberworth Park to use their car park, so long as we come in for drink at the end of the walk. Please park with consideration to pedestrians and other road users.
