Walk description
Starting from Ecclesfield Park car park we walk through the park past Ecclesfield Church, over Whitley Lane then upto the Sheffield Country Walk via field paths. There is a short but steep ascent to get us onto the Country Walk path. From here we enter Burncross and after a little road walking we reach Ecclesfield Comprehensive School. Crossing the main A6135 road we walk down Strawberry Fields then into Smithy Wood estate. Picking up the Trans Pennine Trail we walk to Station Road to return to Ecclesfield Park and our start point.
