Walk description
Miners Arms, Harley and Tankersley Golf Course
This walk starts at The Miners Arms, Warren Lane, Warren. We walk through Parkin Wood, then ascend White Lane over the motorway. Turning right we pass Spittal Houses before turning left to the village of Harley. We cross the A6135 road to reach the Bell Ground and pass the house where “Kes” was filmed. We then walk around Tankersley Golf Course, before crossing the busy A616 Stocksbridge bypass to make our way back to the Miners at Warren.
