Walk description
After leaving Wadsley Common Car Park we follow footpaths down to the River Loxley and walk through the woods along the river to Stacey Bank – a short but steep lane up to Loxley Road. We will then walk along the road to Dam Flask where we will follow the northern bank of the reservoir. The walk up to this point has been fairly easy (except for the short climb up Stacey Bank) and now there is a moderate diagonal climb on footpaths across farm land up to Cliffe House Farm. From here the walk is easy again following footpaths through Holdsworth and back to Wadsley Common.
This is an 8.0 mile moderate walk with a little road walking as well as paths. It will take around 4 hours.
