Walk description
From the start point (north-east of Matlock), we walk down the track passing Lower Lumsdale and Lumsdale Waterfall. Taking the public footpath to our left walking over open fields we reach Tansley Knoll. After a short back road walk we pass through woods to pick up Foxholes Lane. Passing round the campsite of PacKhorse Farm we come to and cross the main (A632) road, and enter Bottom Moor and follow the paths to the western edge before taking the public footpath across open fields and around the edge of Matlock Golf Course to meet up with the bridle path of Sandy Lane for our return to the start point.
Please be aware that there are stiles and sections of quiet road walking, and two uphill sections to negotiate on this walk.
