Walk description
From the lay-by on Stony Ridge Road (A625) we make our way across moorland to the Longshaw Estate, crossing the brook and making our way up to the car park at Surprise View. Following paths around Millstone edge we have great views over Hathersage and surrounding hills. We then climb up onto Higger Tor, with more extensive views, before taking the rocky path down and over to Upper Burbage Bridge, we will decide on our lunchbreak location somewhere along here. Paths around the top of Burbage rocks return us to the start.
