Walk description
Setting off on the adjacent track to the car park, we head steadily uphill to gain open views above Coombs Dale. This route takes us up past old quarry workings to eventually reach the edge of Longstone Moor then a short distance to Black Harry Gate. Now a slight climb up a track to where we’ll take our lunch break above Coombs Dale. There is a short steep downhill here on a grassy bank to reach Rough Side and Coombs Dale to return to the start.
