Wednesday Walkers – New Year's Meal

This meal is intended to be available to regular Wednesday walkers who were not able to join the recent Travellers Xmas Walk and Meal. The above date has been booked with the Commercial for a maximum of 24 people, so first preference goes to the above group of walkers. The meal will be subsidised by £3.

There will be a limited choice to keep things simple, but if anyone requires a vegetarian meal please contact the organisers. Sweets will be available on the day and you will need to pay The Commercial directly on the day.

Main Courses

Homemade Steak and Ale Pie
Succulent, braised beef in ale topped with short-cut pastry served with our famous chips, garden or mushy peas and gravy.

Homemade Beef Lasagne
Layers of pasta sheets, béchamel sauce, red wine and rich minced beef and tomato ragu, topped with cheese and baked in the oven. Served with 2 slices of garlic bread.
