Walk description
This section of the walk will start from The Abbey pub to a path through Chancet Wood and through Parkbank Wood to Beauchief Abbey. We then ascend gradually to follow paths through Ladies Spring Wood, where there will be a choice of descent towards Dore & Totley Station (one very steep, the other more gradual).
After a short section of road walking we enter Ecclesall Wood where we will detour around the Bird Sanctuary (probable lunch stop), before continuing uphill beside Limb Brook to finish at Whirlow Bridge.
This is a 6 mile walk and will take 3 to 3.5 hours.

Meeting point: Outside The Abbey public house, 944 Chesterfield Road, Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Parking: It is advisable to use public transport to and from the start and finish points.
