Walk description
After leaving the car park we climb onto Dobb Edge, enjoying the extensive views before entering Stand Wood. After making our way through the woods, passing the Emperor Lake along the way, we cross open moorland via a wide path which leads us to Beeley Hilltop and down into the village of Beeley.
We then cross meadowland before crossing the River Derwent on the old bridge. Upon entering Chatsworth Park we will take a riverside path giving us views of the House. We will then make our way back to the start of the walk passing through parkland and woodland tracks.
Please note: Dog walkers please be aware that there are several high stiles on this walk.
