Walk description
Starting from Old Glossop, we follow the Doctors Gate footpath up towards the Pennine Way where it crosses the A57 road, taking an alternative path up to Lower Shelf Stones which will enable us to visit the site of the crashed B29 superfortress (over exposed). We will then continue to Higher Shelf Stones and drop down over Shelf Moor returning to Old Glossop.

Parking: Park at the end of Shepley Street, Old Glossop, Glossop. Please park with consideration to pedestrians and other road users.
