Walk description
This walk takes us to a small early Bronze Age stone circle traditionally believed to depict nine ladies turned to stone as a penalty for dancing on Sunday. Starting from Birchover, we take a short climb to the eastern edge of Stanton Moor, walking to the edge of Rowsley before returning back over Stanton Moor. Bring your own music if you want to test the legend.
