Walk description
We start this walk from Monsal Head, by walking down the Dale towards Brushfield Hough, then taking a path uphill towards Brushfield and on through High Dale. We come out onto Broadway Lane where we start our decent into Priestcliffe Lees joining the Monsal Trail. At the first tunnel we will take the old paths that take us over the tops as when the tunnels were closed. These paths look down on the River Wye at Water-Cum-Jolly. We then come back to the Monsal Trail and back to the start. (Please be aware the path to Brushfield will be muddy and slippery).
This is an 8 mile walk and is moderate. It will take approximately 4.5 hours.
