Distance: 7.5 miles
Walk description

Starting from Longshaw Estate café we walk in a southerly direction through the estate. There is then a very short climb to reach the A6187 road. Crossing the A6187 we walk across Totley Moor (good 360 degree views) then descend into Totley Bents. We then turn into Blackamoor Plantation and get to a gradual but lengthy ascent (900ft, approximately 1.2 miles) that takes us over the A625 to our lunch stop on Houndkirk Moor (panoramic views across Sheffield). After lunch we have approximately 1.5 miles back to Fox House and onward to Longshaw Estate. Lunch stop is likely to be around 12:45, so we will stop for 5 minutes at the start of the ascent for a drink and light snack as required.

This is moderate walk of 7.5 miles taking approximately 4 hours including lunch stop. The paths are well defined throughout (with kissing gates but no stiles) and could be wet depending on the weather on the preceding days.
