Date: Sunday, 24th October 2021
Start time: 10:00
Grade: Moderate
Distance: 7.5 miles
Walk description
From the lay-by, we walk through Little Hucklow then down Tideslow Rake (which is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and Site of Special Scientific Interest for Flora and Fauna), and head towards Bradwell Moor for lunch. After reaching Batham Gate Roman Road, we veer south west down the pretty Green Dale and Hartle Dale before returning to the start.
This is a moderate walk with gentle undulation. There are several stiles en route, and the path down Hartle Dale has a few brambles and nettles, so long trousers advisable.
