Walk description
From Fairholmes Visitor Centre we cross to the opposite side of Ladybower Reservoir and walk south along the edge of the water. At Grindle Clough we leave the reservoir and climb quite steeply up to the edge of Derwent Moor. Walking north towards Derwent Edge, weather permitting we will have fantastic views of the Derwent Valley. This will be where we will have lunch. After lunch we continue along the edge to Back Tor before turning back towards Derwent Reservoir passing Lost Lad. On reaching the reservoir we make our way back to the visitor centre along the side of the water.
